Album Info:Former CNJ Station at Matawan, NJ (Monmouth County). Station constructed in 1875. The years of 1982-1983 this station was replaced with a new station. Source my copy of Ben Bernhart's book, Central Railroad of New Jersey -Stations, Structures and Marine Equipment. This former station is along NJ Transit's North Jersey Coast Line.

Description:  An Angled view of the front of the station with a bay window. I don'rt know when the bay window was added. Ben Bernhart's book mentioned in the album for these pictures (re page 125, shows this station without the bay window and this station was slightly alteredfor its construction.
