Album Info:Here are the front cover and an eight-page cover article by David P. Morgan & Al Kamm, Jr., entitled "Those Esthetic E's: A Story Of The Power That Bumped Steam Off The Varnish." They were published originally in the May 1964 issue of "Trains" magazine, pages 20-27. "The most famous face in all of dieseldom ~ a high operating cab set up and behind a rounded nose ~ had faint precedents, perhaps, in the M-10000 and Pennsy's original GG-1 electric, but the styling was really born of operating experience with the first non-articulated road diesels."
