Album Info:Here is a three-page article entitled "Horseshoe Curve: 100-Year Wonder." It was published originally in the February 1954 issue of "Pennsy" magazine, pages 1-3. No author is specified. "A railroad guide book of 1862, published by George H. Thurston at Pittsburgh, told the passengers that here was 'the grandest view on the whole route. A vast extent of landscape is spread out before the eye . . . This horseshoe bend is one of the greatest engineering triumphs of the age.'" (Page 2)
