Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #9584 and #9524. #9584 is a BF-15 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1949 and rated at 1,500 horsepower. #9524 is an EF-15 built by EMD in 1948 and rated at 1,500 horsepower. Photo Caption: "Among the latest additions to the Pennsylvania's huge roster of diesels are 26 Baldwin freight units like No. 9584, shown at Enola, Pa. This is the first 1500-horsepower "shark nose" type."
