WWI "40 & 8" Car, 1972 |
| Description: |
IGMR. Here is an original photo that I took at Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania, during August of 1972. Shown here is the "Train de la Reconnaissance Francaise" that is on display in front of the headquarters building at IGMR. This is similar to one of the "40 Men, 8 Horses" cars that American Doughboys rode in while in France during World War I. Posing in front of this venerable relic is mw friend Twyla Jean King of Middletown, Pennsylvania. |
