Once upon a time, long ago and far away, this was both a busy and important Station; this is where passengers would transfer from north- and southbound trains to trains from or to westbound destinations ~ 24/7/365. Sometimes there was enough time between trains to catch a good meal at the resturant located on the Station's second floor. |

Also visible on the right is PRR #999400, a former steam locomotive tender that has been relegated to Maintenance-of-Way service. Instead of supplying a steam locomotive with water, it's now filled with fuel oil to replenish the steam-heat boilers in GG-1 electrics. |
