Built in 1956 by EMD, this Illinois Central GP 9 is working the Pullman Junction on this unknown day. In January of 1971, the unit would be rebuilt to a GP10 class and renumbered 8139. No date was giveo for this b&w negative but with the the diamond logo with large print making it after 1950 and the rebuild in 1971, it has to be between 1950-71. Unknown photographer |
