Album Info:The UP's Ogden Sub runs from Ogden, UT (MP 0.0) to McCammon, ID (MP 111.2) then enters the Green River Sub for the short distance to Pocatello. Completed in 1881 as a narrow gauge line, it was poorly built and inadequate. In 1889, it was standard gauged on nearly all new grade. In 1989, a job transfer took me to Northern Utah. At the time, the Ogden Sub ran 4-6 daily manifests and Amtrak's Pioneer. The Little Mountain, Malad and Cache Valley branches were part of the Ogden Sub.
