Description:  Crossing Peabody Coal Company tracks. The PARY ran from Flora to Shawneetown on an ex Baltimore & Ohio branch. Too many miles and not enough traffic doomed the PARY and it was abandoned in 1985.

Description:  Conrail train TV52 is westbound nearing Streator with a Santa Fe Kodachrome GP35 and 3 Conrail units. In the late 1960's, the New York Central built a connection from the NYC Kankakee line to the Santa Fe south of Streator. Run-through trains between the Elkhart, Indiana yard and Argentine Yard in Kansas City, used this connection. Once on the Santa Fe, this train will become #302.
