Description:  Definitely can see the Spahish architecture typical of the Santa Fe line in this station. Note the water pipe in the center. Taken by an unknown photogrphaer during a trip on the streamlinver "El Capitan" from LA to Chicago. Interesting commentary on the back of the photo reads "Raton's Station. 2 miles for border of Colo.. Alt. 6,635 ft. Old Santa Fe trail passed thru town. 26 miles from Trinidad, Colo."
