Album Info:This album contains pictures of the collection at the temporary home for the Museum of the American Railroad. The museum is in the process of moving their equipment from Dallas to Frisco. Currently, the collection is off limits to the public, however each picture in this album was taken from outside of the museum's property.

Description:  Built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1942, the "Meteor" was an overnight passenger train between St. Louis, Tulsa and Oklahoma City. #4501 powered a portion of President Harry S. Truman's whistle stop campaign through Missouri in 1948. She was donated to the museum by Frisco in 1964.
