Album Info:Here is a group of mostly original photos featuring Baldwin built 4-6-4 Hudsons (known as Baltics on the Milwaukee Road) all built in 1930. Most of these photos were taken in the early 1950's, near the time these fine locos were heading to the scrap line.

Description:  Great action shot by R.A. Selle of the Baldwin built Hudson (nicknamed Baltics by the Milwaukee Road) on a commuter run into Chicago. The locomotive was delivered in March of 1930. Specifics - F6 class, renumbered in 1938, 79" drivers, 225 psi boiler pressure, 26x28" cylinders, engine weight of 375,850 lb, tractive effort of 45,820 lb, retired 12/1954.
