Album Info:Union Pacific Houston Service Unit / Galveston Subdivision Galveston Yard 13 Oct 2014 Heading back to the hotel following that bit of good luck in getting permission to go into BNSF's yard to catch a BN locomotive; I saw out of the corner of my eye three passenger cars. As it turned out, they were sitting right outside Union Pacifics Yard Office. Well to the door I went, and several employees were standing around talking after their shift. I told them what I wished to do and was very warmly encouraged to go over and take pics, but don't cross any tracks. Grabbed two locos heading out with fresh crew and an old boxcar now used as a storage outbuilding.
