Description:  While there is less foreign power than 5-10 years ago and the effects of PSR have reduced a bit of the train volume the Mohawk Sub. and Selkirk Branch still remain some of my favorite places to railfan, and there is still always a chance of catching something really cool. We got out to the Mohawk bright and early on this beautiful Sunday and saw a report Q212 and Q626 had combined and had a CN leader. That became my main interest. The trains were separated at Dewitt and the CN power removed but Ill actually take a CSX EMD veteran over a CN GE. Here we see Q212 and CSX 8054 - CSX 3432 rolling east through Amsterdam, NY toward CP-175 with a clear signal. In a few miles they will cross the Mohawk River and continue south on the Selkirk Branch toward Selkirk Yard with a final destination of New Jersey.
