Description:  UP 8642 slugs up the grade at Alta Vista with the same autorack train we caught back at Alma, but thanks to a particle of dust somewhere between me and the train my camera decided the head end shot which had a barn and horses in the background wasn't going to work.

Title:  UP 7274 eastbound UP loaded coal train
Description:  UP 7274 slugs up Navarre hill with a loaded coal train. Normally this train had 4 units in a 2x2 set up but that's not the case with this train as it's just the standard UP coal train consist of 2x1. If one of the engines were to die going up the hill the train would stall, which has happened here with rare cases of "manned helpers" having to be called, that or also times have came where a train has had to back all the way to Abilene to "kidnap" local power

After shoving back I was told to move by a couple of Wamego police officers because I was, and I quote "close to the property". Not on the property (which I wasn't on the property) but close to it. So I politely listened to them.
