FCEN "Northbound" w/FWCR 669
Title:  FCEN "Northbound" w/FWCR 669
Description:  Wooten Park is about the best spot to actually photograph the "Northbound" as the line runs mostly W/NW out of Plymouth. Not too long ago, you could drive back a bit more to see the curved line "street run" past the citrus packing plant, but it's been torn down & fenced off. Lake County Courthouse now serves as a backdrop.

Title:  Q237 w/HLCX 6139
Description:  10 years ago, SP tunnel motors were a daily sight in Wildwood. Now, it's rare. This train was "running hotter than Amtrak" today, as I was told. Was foggy & overcast all morning until the train showed up, then about 10 minutes after it passed, got cloudy again.

Q258 w/HLCX 7149
Title:  Q258 w/HLCX 7149
Description:  Another one worth writing home about. It's taken a good many years for me to get this one leading, and only by default today. Crew had to go well out of their way to run the wye at Stanton for this as the CSXT motor "looked like it was in a trainwreck" according to crew. Legend also has it this motor came to the Helm fleet by default as BN wrecked one before shipping it. Flares on hood were retrofitted for BN's natural gas program. The other unit in that project, 7890, still works for BNSF & also passed by Taft in January (in darkness!)

Q258 w/HLCX 7149
Title:  Q258 w/HLCX 7149
Description:  The epitome of "BN Whiteface". 7149 retained most of its BN paint when it went to Helm, but lost the BN lettering on hood & logo on nose. Has been difficult to find in the lead until now!

Title:  HLCX 7149 & FCEN 55
Description:  Q255 on the right, Z915 on the left. Q255's power is usually parked up around the curve, I'd like to think they knew how much I wanted this one & put it out in the open along Orange Avenue! It only got better later in the day as they wyed the set for Q258.

Title:  FEC 191 w/FURX 1171
Description:  In 2006, 191's departure time from New Smyrna Beach was rolled back far enough that it could be seen in daylight for most of its run. 2006 also found FEC even more colorful with the addition of four FURX leasers in April, one of which can be seen here.
