As I alluded to earlier, a private contractor has set up shop in the old P&LE Gateway yard Car Shop. These intermodal cars are actually trash cars that are unloaded on the Y&S at Signal, which is west of Rogers. Some big forlmer BAR woodchip hoppers, now owned by the NYS&W and used in trash service, are on the adjacent track. CQPA GP9 670 can be seen in the background, hiding in the trees. |
