Description:  This unit is the former Norfolk Southern / Norfolk and Western GP40 #1386. It was given to Maine Central after MEC GP40 #375 was involved in a wreck on NS and destroyed in September 2006. The 382 has spend a good deal of time on NS, repaying horsepower hours.

Description:  Now THIS is a rarity... Pan Am freight WASE (Waterville ME to Selkirk NY) passing over the 1907 bridge at the MBTA commuter stop at Belmont Center station. Flooding forced Pan Am to reroute some trains on the MBTAs Fitchburg line instead of their own Stony Brook line. I finally got a good look at freight in my home town.
