Description:  BNSF 900 & CEFX 3138 head south on the BNSF Hannibal Sub. with a Galesburg to Memphis freight as they pass the newly constructed siding just outside of Clarksville, Mo. The siding is nearly completed, all rail and ties have been placed and three quarters of the ballast has been dumped as well. The siding should be completed by the first week of the new year and will most likely be used for a parked train sooner than an actual meet.

Description:  Q299-10 going west in Broadford on a beautiful but cold winter day. The thermometer said 20 degrees but I think the sun was fooling it by about 5 degrees. These locomotives came to Connellsville this same day and were taken off Q368 for some reason and put onto this train to go the other way. Autorack train Q299 is an as-needed train to Louisville. CEFX 3138 is former SP 7487 SD45R and built as SP 9070 SD45 in March 1969.
