The tank car in the center is parked on a piece of track that once formed part of a connection to the long-gone Chicago Great Western mainline in Roseport but now only has a fragment in Rosemount surviving as a spur.

The PGR operates the former Milwaukee "Eagandale" line. Which once connected to downtown St. Paul as part of the I&M division but now is truncated at 494 in Eagan. With a rail trail on the rest of the route.
