New Orleans Public Service streetcar 804 was outbound on the ST. CHARLES line on St. Charles Avenue at Octavia Street, having just passed the OCTAVIA apartment building. The streetcar was built in 1922 and scrapped in June 1964, after the original CANAL car line closed; while the OCTAVIA was built in 1907 and is still standing in 2020. (approximate date of photo) |
