PRR 2651, GF-25, 1966
Title:  PRR 2651, GF-25, 1966
Description:  Mid-Mountain. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train West of Altoona, Pennsylvania, during mid-June of 1966. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #2651 and two unidentified EMD GP-9 "B" units. #2651 is a GF-25 built by General Electric in 1965 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. They are pulling a westbound mixed-cargo freight train up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and points West. Wave to the fireman!
