Description:  With a new crew but nowhere to go. This empty oil train was held for hours in Broadford because of a brush fire about seven miles down the CSX rail line near Linden Hall. It looks sunny here but clouds were quickly moving in from the west as I took the photo. It was the last sun of the day.

Bright future
Title:  Bright future
Description:  The trailing unit is one of the 1000 SD70MACs BN acquired in the 90s for coal service. Many of them have now been displaced in that work by newer power, and have found their way into the general freight pool. This last unit is still(mostly) in its original paint, but the second unit, another Grinstein, is now in "Swoosh" paint. Hopefully this is a bodes well for its future!!
