Heading up a 5 car passenger train is Penn Central E8A #259. Originally built by EMD in September of 1951 as NYC E8A #4041, it was caught in the PRR/NYC merger to form Penn Central as their #259. Later it moved over to the Amtrak roster when PC went bankrupt. This is a Paul Kuehner action photo. |
