"First Watson Roadswitcher"
Title:  "First Watson Roadswitcher"
Description:  Two rebuilt GP9us and a B23-7 drill in El Segundo. This short section of track here is actually the only remaining piece of the Redondo Branch west of the Harbor Sub. At one time, a train on this track could continue through Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach (on what is today a really skinny park). Even this shot cannot be taken anymore, as the mall/movie theatre to the right planted those trees, which today are taller then any train.
